Looking towards the future

This Report embraces the opinion, put forward by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, that globalization must be properly understood as a complex phenomenon, as well as a source of opportunities which can be widely spread, but which so far have touched and benefited only a few. The challenge that confronts us is to ensure that more people around the world can benefit from globalization.
